For individuals with special needs.

 

Campers will have the opportunity to help groom mini horse Diva & her friends and partake in one or two unmounted activities. This includes learning how to groom, bathe, and lead horses. Other potential unmounted activities include learning about horse health and a treat enrichment feeding session. Campers will have fun with games and crafts, as well! Possible games include "pony, pony, horse" and designing obstacle courses and barrel racing patterns to run through on hobby horses. Favorite camp crafts include painting a horse, making pony pizzas, and more!

NOTE: 

Snacks & beverages are provided during snack time.  If your child has a food allergy / restriction, please pack them their own snack.

Riding helmets are required to be near the horses for safety; we have helmets available though riders are encouraged to bring their own ASTM certified riding helmet.  Bike helmets are not acceptable.

For all levels of abilities.

 

Each day of camp, campers will have a riding lesson from a PATH certified therapeutic riding instructor. Campers will have the opportunity to help groom and tack their horse for class. Besides riding, campers will do one or two unmounted activities. This includes learning how to groom, bathe, and lead horses. Other potential unmounted activities include learning about horse health and a treat enrichment feeding session. Campers will have fun with games and crafts, as well! Possible games include "pony, pony, horse" and designing obstacle courses and barrel racing patterns to run through on hobby horses.
