LET'S SPARK THE SPIRIT OF GENEROSITY ON THE INTERNATIONAL DAY OF GIVING TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 28.
We are gearing up for our GIVE-A-NEIGH campaign that kicks off on GIVING TUESDAY (November 28, 2023) and comes to an exciting climax on December 2, 2023 during our annual Give-A-Neigh TELETHON!
The past two years you have gone ABOVE & BEYOND helping us raise monies to care for the therapy horses over the winter.
In 2021 you raised: $9,150. Our goal was was $5,000 with a stretch to $10,000.
In 2022 you raised: $5,736. Our goal was $5,000.
Our 2023 goal is $6,500.
Your gift on #GivingTuesday will kick off the Give-A-Neigh season. With the help and support of our amazing community Strides can continue to serve and expand our mission.
We ask that you also encourage your friends & family to join us in supporting the therapy horses this winter. You can text them:
"Help me support my favorite nonprofit Strides in Pasco, WA that is helping children with disabilities and so much more. Text NEIGH23 to 366283."
GivingTuesday began in 2012 and is a special day dedicated to giving back to the causes meaningful to you. Each year, on the Tuesday following US Thanksgiving, people all over the world come together for one common purpose: to celebrate generosity by volunteering and donating.
Strides took this opportunity to use GivingTuesday as the start of our Give-A-Neigh campaign. This year marks the 3rd annual GIVE-A-NEIGH campaign. The reason we decided to dedicate the end of the year fundraiser as such is because the vast majority of our therapy herd comes from unfair situations, starvation, and slaughter.
Give-A-Neigh is a reminder to inspire not only generosity but to also inspire our community to pay it forward to bring more good into the world!
