HORSE CAMPS
All camps are open to current riders and patients, individuals on the wait list, rider siblings and riders without disabilities. Individuals do not need prior riding experience to participate. Strides Horse Camps operate a 4 to 1 camper-to-instructor ratio. We strive to operate an inclusive camp that allows for success and enjoyment of each camper.
All campers are required to fill out paperwork for the day to be covered by insurance. Campers will not be able to participate alongside the Strides horses if the paperwork is not filled out.

Sparky's Camp
Age: 4yo to 18yo
This is a monthly camp available every 3rd Saturday of the month. The primary focus is ground work (not riding lessons) with Sparky and his friends.

Rate: $40 per day
Camp is limited to 10.
Camp Buckaroos
Age: 5yo to 8yo
This is a 2-part camp to build on skills learned.
Part 1: June 29, 9am to 12pm
Part 2: July 27, 9am to 12pm
Registration Fee covers, but not exclusive to, time, services, camp fee:
Early Bird: $180 (Register by June 15 for Early Bird rate.)
Regular Rate: $225
Camp is limited to 4 riders.
Camp Durango
Age: 9yo to 18yo
This is a 2-part camp to build on skills learned.
Part 1: June 29, 5pm to 8pm
Part 2: July 27, 5pm to 8pm
Registration Fee covers, but not exclusive to, time, services, camp fee:
Early Bird: $180 (Register by June 15 for Early Bird rate.)
Regular Rate: $225
Camp is limited to 4 riders.
DSHS / DDA:
Strides accepts DSHS / DDA funds for Sparky's Camp only.
Contact your DSHS / DDA case manager for approval and submit camp registration form for payment. At time of registration the camp fee is due. DSHS / DDA do not cover days missed by the camper and it is the responsibility of the camper’s family to pay the cancellation fee per missed day.
ELIGIBILITY:
Strides is accredited through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship Intl. (PATH), and we follow their guidelines for precautions and contraindications equine-assisted activities. For a complete list of precautions and contraindications, please click here.
Campers must be able to use the restroom independently and feed themselves independently, or restroom and feeding assistance must be provided by the camper’s family. Strides staff & volunteers are unable to help with restroom use or feeding assistance.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
If you need to cancel your registration for camp, please contact us as soon as possible. If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your camp starting, you will receive a refund minus a $50 administrative fee. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to your camp starting, you will not receive a refund or credit.
